Two masked thugs have attacked a 58-year-old woman, who was on her way to do volunteer work, beating her with a bat in broad daylight on a street in New York City.
The men were captured on CCTV jumping on the woman, hitting her with a bat five times before running off.
According to the woman’s sister, she was leaving work at a daycare when the thugs came up from behind.
The woman was then sent to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries. She was hit in her head, back and legs.
The motive for the attack is unclear considering the thugs didn’t steal the woman’s purse.
Police have not yet found the suspects.
