The Management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has approved the appointment of Dr (Mrs) Mercy Ekong as the new Head of Department (HoD) of Microbiology.
Her appointment was made known on Friday.

Dr Ekong takes over outgoing HoD of Microbiology Department, Dr Felix Akubuenyi.
Converseer reports that Microbiology is one of the Departments under the Faculty of Sciences located in the Calabar Campus.
