…dual-motor four-wheel drive version available, to be launched at the end of the year
“Ye S7” pure electric SUV was unveiled in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products” (385th batch), Dongfeng Honda announced the official pictures of this new car last night.
According to the official introduction, the “Ye S7” has a length of 4750mm and a wheelbase of 2930mm, with a class-leading 61.7% axle length ratio and is equipped with large-size 21-inch wheels. The car is equipped with a Honda SENSING 360 + intelligent driving assistance system and a Honda CONNECT 4.0 network system, integrating a smart digital cockpit.
The car is equipped with a new intelligent and efficient pure electric “W” architecture (Architecture W) and a ternary lithium battery from the CATL. It provides two drive modes: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The dual-motor four-wheel drive version can achieve a peak power of 150kW for the front drive motor and 200kW for the rear drive motor.
According to previous reports, Honda China held a new electric brand launch conference in April this year and introduced some information about this model, which will be launched at the end of this year. The exterior design of the car is described as “progressive”, with a built-in “lifelike” smart cockpit, a panoramic skylight that supports adjustable light transmittance, BOSE headrest speakers, and an intelligent voice assistant.
