The Federal Polytechnic Ugep is one of the Polytechnics established by the Federal Government in each geopolitical zone in 2021. The institution is located in Ugep, Yakurr Local Government Area in Central Senatorial District, Cross River State.

Senior Lecturer: A candidate possessing relevant Masters Degree with at least fifteen years teaching/research or industrial work experience. Such a candidate must have published a total of seven conference/seminar papers, six journal articles accepted for publication, or contribution of two chapters in a standard text book(s). Or a candidate possessing a Doctorate Degree in relevant discipline with at least nine years teaching/research or industrial work experience plus five journals and six conference/seminar papers.

Lecturer II: A candidate possessing relevant Masters Degree with plus at least six years teaching/research or industrial work experience and four journals accepted for publication or a doctorate degree in relevant discipline plus three journal publications and three conference/seminar papers.

Lecturer III: A candidate possessing relevant Master’s Degree with at least three years cognate experience plus at least one conference/seminar papers

Asst. Lecturer: A candidate

possessing a good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second-Class Lower Division) or Higher National Diploma (Upper Credit) plus PGD in relevant discipline with NYSC Certificate and

				at least three years cognate experience.
