News Central is seeking a seasoned News Producer to manage news bulletins, coordinate production, and write impactful stories.

Key Responsibilities
1. Monitors News Platforms to gather news stories for Bulletins
2. Write and rewrite stories to reflect house style
3. Coordinate News Production with relevant elements such as graphics, photo slides, straps, etc
4. Prepares News rundown for bulletins
5. Works with the PCR/MCR for the execution of Newscast
Person Specification (Requirements)
(I). 7+ years of producing with both field and control room experience.
(II). Must be a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organisational skills to bring it all together.
(III). Outstanding news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic are critical for the position.
(IV). Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.
(V). Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.
