The 2023 Carnival Calabar & Festivals proper has started today, Tuesday with the Cultural Carnival.
The Cultural Carnival was flagged off at the Millenium Park (Eleven-Eleven), Calabar, by Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, Deputy Governor of Cross River State Deputy Governor, who said Cross River is home for all.
Many states of the federation participated in the 2023 Cultural Carnival, including Rivers, Kebbi, Enugu, and Edo.
The Cultural Parade also had participation from the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.

Others to follow the Cultural Carnival are the Children’s Carnival, Carnival Calabar (Main Carnival), Bikers’ Carnival, and International Carnival.
