This attack happened just a few days after another one in Umogidi village, Enetekpa Adoka district of Otukpo LGA, where 52 people were killed.
Speaking on the development, the LGA Chairman, Mike Aba, who did so through the local government’s security officer, Christopher Waku, called the assault a bloodbath.
“24 bodies were found in the classrooms where the inhabitants were seeking refuge”, according to Waku, who claimed to be at the scene of the crime.
“10 bodies were found on the road, indicating that they were fleeing the attack when they were shot at”, he added.
Catherine Anene, the State Command’s spokeswoman, confirmed the attack but asked for more time to gather information.
