Ayamelum-Omor Community in Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra State has received an ultra-modern open space Market Stall from the Senator Representing Anambra North Senatorial zone, Senator Dr Tony Nwoye.
Senator Nwoye, while commissioning the market on Friday, described the project as a “benefitting place for our mothers, farmers and rural dwellers who are into small and medium scale businesses,” stressing that “the facility would boost trade and commerce in the locality, especially in the marketing of agricultural produce, which our people are known for.”
Dr Nwoye commended the Omor Community for their support of the project and urged the community to protect the buildings from vandalism and other forms of destruction.

“This project belongs to you, as a community, you must do everything within your powers to protect the facility against vandalism and destruction,” he said.
The Lawmaker informed the people that similar projects are ongoing in Okpoko in Ogbaru Local Government area with other projects in various communities in Anambra North Senatorial District.
“Last week, we finished and completed the Aguleri Innovation and Computer Hub Centre. We will continue to attract more impactful Projects for the good people of Anambra North Senatorial District. We will equip the centre with modern Computer and Tech skills,” he added.
