Mary Gold International School JAMB Scores School solicits for scholarship for female student who scored 357 in JAMB in C'River

Mary Gold International School, Calabar, Cross River State, is soliciting for its female student who scored 357 out of 400 in the just concluded Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

CONVERSEER gathered that Miss Josephine Okon Thomas, a student of Mary Gold International School, Calabar, scored 357 out of 400 in the 2024 JAMB, becoming the student with the highest score in the state.

Miss Okon is an indigene of Ekpri Ikang in Akpabuyo local government area of the state.

In an interview with journalists during the week, on the JAMB performance of the candidate, Mrs Chiburioma Iwheziokwu Weli-Ushie, Administrator of Mary Gold International School, noted that the appeal was imperative because Miss Okon had been struggling financially throughout her secondary school education.

CONVERSEER earlier reported that 16-year-old Stephen Unimawho Apebende of TopFaith International School, Mkpatak, Akwa Ibom State, scored 356 out of 400 in his JAMB.

Apebende who hails from Obudu local government area of the state was awarded a scholarship by Hon. Peter Akpanke, Member representing Obanliku/Obudu/Bekwerra Federal Constituency in the Federal House.

In fairness, Miss Josephine Okon Thomas who scored 357, being the student with the highest JAMB scorer in the State should also be rewarded, at least with a scholarship, owing to the fact that she is struggling financially.
