The Cross River State Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade has promised that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate if elected will complete the Boki East-West Road that was started by his administration.
Governor Ayade who stated this during the Statewide Campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Okundi in Boki Local Government Area, described the people of Boki as holders of the fort of leadership and those at the epicenter of political process in Cross River State.
His Excellency inferred that the construction of the East-West Road which had been written off and forgotten was commenced in his administration, informing that the next administration has the capacity to get it done.
“That is why you have to vote for someone who has the intellectual capacity and human empathy like Sen. Prince Otu to complete the road. If you make a mistake and vote for another party, they will never complete it because it was started by me,” he Said.
Addressing the jubilant crowd, the Governorship candidate of the APC, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu appreciated the people for the rousing reception while pledging to improve the people’s lives when elected.
He averred that if elected, his administration will build on the solid foundation Ayade has laid, and promised to complete the East-West road abandoned by past administrations in his first term when elected as Governor.
