Former Arsenal manager, Unai Emery has been appointed to replace Stephen Gerrard as the new Aston Villa Head Coach.
CONVERSEER gathered that Emery will take over from November 1, 2022, after his work permit formalities are completed.
He joined from Villarreal, a Spanish La Liga club that he led to the 2021 UEFA Europa League trophy after he best English Premier League side, Manchester United in the final.
Emery who also led Villarreal to the 2022 Champions League semi-finals, had earlier led Premier League side, Arsenal to a Europa League final where he lost to Chelsea.

The Spaniard is referred to as a highly experienced top-level coach who has managed over 900 games in the top division of Europe’s finest leagues.
He has also enjoyed notable success at Sevilla and Paris Saint Germain. In Seville, he won three successive Europa League titles between 2013 and 2016 before going on to lift a Ligue 1 championship in France as well as two French Cups, two French League Cups and two Trophée des Champions.
