A pastor identified as Rev. Okang is in trouble after invoking millipedes to his ex-girlfriend (name withheld) who refused to marry him after seeing her through school.
CONVERSEER gathered that yesterday, November 2, 2022, a colony of millipedes also invaded Rev. Okang’s house at Edim Otop, Calabar Municipal Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The millipedes were said to have been sent by a deity who had earlier summoned Okang but refused to respond.
Accordingly, the trouble started when Rev. Okang allegedly sent the colony of millipedes in a letter to the lady’s residence, accusing her of refusing to marry him after seeing her through the university.
A source said when the Pastor approached the lady for marriage after her university education, she told him that she cannot marry him because he is an illiterate.
“From what we heard, she told her ex-lover that she can no longer marry him because she cannot end up with an illiterate husband. The man could not stomach the betrayal any longer and then decided to go spiritual.
“We believe the man went to their deity and summoned her from there, somewhere in Akwa Ibom (Oron)”, the source said.
CONVERSEER further learned that when the lady received the letter with the millipedes, she hurriedly went to the shrine of the deity at Okobo in Akwa Ibom State where she was summoned to clarify her name.

Afterwards, Rev. Okang was also summoned by the deity but refused to appear on the second day of the hearing at the shrine.
So, on Wednesday (November 2), a colony of millipedes invaded Okang’s apartment at Edim Otop as residents were left in awe.
According to eyewitnesses, the millipedes mysteriously appeared with lightning during light rain that showered the previous night.
One of the residents who identified herself as Mrs Felicia said that the Pastor was simply summoned to narrate his side of the story.
“We saw him yesterday, but nobody has seen him this morning, so we don’t know his whereabouts. The millipedes appeared with a letter when lightning struck while it was raining on Tuesday evening.
“I heard he was asked to come and clarify something at the shrine. It is like he was being adamant, so they had to summon him traditionally”, Felicia said.
This is not the first time that residents of Calabar had witnessed such a mysterious incident. The other was at 8 Miles in 2016, when a vulture appeared mysteriously with a letter tied around its leg using a red cloth at Ikot Omin Town Hall at 8 Miles, Calabar Municipal Local Government Area of the State.
