A trans man modelling a sports bra for Calvin Klein has drawn criticism across board.
Bappie Kortram can be seen sporting a sports bra and a pair of trousers in a brand-shared promotional photo.
Bappie, a Dutch model, is represented by several modelling agencies all over the world, including British Zebedee Talent. According to them, he is a trans man who has not undergone top surgery.
This week, after being uploaded on Twitter by Dr Anastasia Maria Loupis, who wrote: “Calvin Klein wants to go broke,” the advertisement—which was first distributed as part of the Calvin Klein Pride 2022 Campaign—became extremely popular.
