CROSIEC Presents Certificate of Return to Hon Edodi Edodi Eyong as Biase Chairman-Elect

Hon. Edodi Edodi Eyong

Biase, Cross River State – In a significant milestone following the recent local government elections, the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) has presented the Certificate of Return to Hon. Edodi Edodi Eyong, confirming him as the Chairman-Elect of Biase Local Government Area.

The presentation ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of CROSIEC Dr Ekong Boco, who officially handed the Certificate of Return to Hon. Eyong and other elected officials on Sunday in Calabar.

This formal recognition establishes Eyong’s status as the duly elected representative of Biase LGA, signalling the community’s trust in his leadership and dedication.

Hon. Eyong expressed gratitude for the support of the people of Biase and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on his campaign promises.

“This certificate symbolises not just victory, but a responsibility to work tirelessly for the people of Biase. Together, we will strive for progress and a brighter future,” he stated.

The official swearing-in is anticipated in the coming days, marking the start of Eyong’s tenure, which many residents hope will bring renewed development and stability to Biase.

CONVERSEER reports that Eyong was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election.
