Donald Trump Signs 41 Executive Orders

WASHINGTON – The 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, has signed 40 executive orders into Law.

Converseer reports that Trump signed the orders on his first day in office, shortly after his inauguration on Monday.

Below are the details of the Executive Orders

1. Withdrawing from the Paris Agreement effective immediately.

2. Delivering Emergency Price Relief

  • “I hereby order the heads of all executive departments and agencies to deliver emergency price relief, consistent with applicable law, to the American people and increase the prosperity of the American worker.”

3. Hiring Freeze

  • A temporary freeze of hiring until the Trump administration is fully in place.
  • Additionally, “Within 90 days of the date of this memorandum, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), in consultation with the Director of OPM and the Administrator of the United States DOGE Service (USDS), shall submit a plan to reduce the size of the Federal Government’s workforce through efficiency improvements and attrition.”

4. Regulatory Freeze

  • “Do not propose or issue any rule in any manner, including by sending a rule to the Office of the Federal Register (the “OFR”), until a department or agency head appointed or designated by the President after noon on January 20, 2025, reviews and approves the rule.”

5. Return to In-Person Work

  • “Heads of all departments and agencies in the executive branch of Government shall, as soon as
    practicable, take all necessary steps to terminate remote work arrangements and require employees to return to work in-person at their respective duty stations on a full-time basis, provided that the department and agency heads shall make exemptions they deem necessary.”

6. End the Weaponization in Government

  • “The Attorney General, in consultation with the heads of all departments and agencies of the United States, shall take appropriate action to review the activities of all departments and agencies exercising civil or criminal enforcement authority of the United States.”

7. Restoring Freedom of Speech

  • “It is the policy of the United States to secure the right of the American people to engage in constitutionally protected speech.”

9. “Grant a full, complete and unconditional pardon to all other individuals convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.”

10. Extending TikTok Deadline

  • “I hereby order the Attorney General not to take any action on behalf of the United States to enforce the Act for 75 days from the date of this order, to permit my Administration an opportunity to determine the appropriate course of action with respect to TikTok.”

12. Restoring Accountability – Reinstates a previous EO and adds:

  • “Employees in or applicants for Schedule Policy/Career positions are not required to personally or politically support the current President or the policies of the current administration. They are required to faithfully implement administration policies to the best of their ability, consistent with their constitutional oath and the vesting of executive authority solely in the President.  Failure to do so is grounds for dismissal.”

13. Holding Former Officials Accountable for Election Interference

  • Takes away security clearance for the 51 CIA agents who spread misinformation about the Hunter Biden laptop plus John Bolton.
  • “It is the policy of the United States to ensure that the Intelligence Community not be engaged in partisan politics or otherwise used by a U.S. political campaign for electioneering purposes.”

14. National Emergency at the Border

  • “The Secretary of Defense, or the Secretary of each relevant military department, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, shall order as many units or members of the Armed Forces, including the Ready Reserve and the National Guard, as the Secretary of Defense determines to be appropriate to support the activities of the Secretary of Homeland Security in obtaining complete operational control of the southern border of the United States.”

15. Resolve Security Clearances

  • “Because of this backlog and the bureaucratic process and broken security clearance process, individuals who have not timely received the appropriate clearances are ineligible for access to the White House complex, infrastructure, and technology and are therefore unable to perform the duties for which they were hired.”
  • This order prioritizes these clearances.

16. Trade Policy

  • “Addressing Unfair and Unbalanced Trade.”
  • Investigate the feasibility of “implementing an External Revenue Service (ERS) to collect tariffs, duties, and other foreign trade-related revenues.”

17. Clarifying the Military’s Role

  • “It is the policy of the United States to ensure that the Armed Forces of the United States prioritize the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the United States along our national borders.”

18. Unleashing American Energy

  • “It is the policy of the United States to encourage energy exploration and production on Federal lands and waters, including on the Outer Continental Shelf, in order to meet the needs of our citizens and solidify the United States as a global energy leader long into the future.”
  • Ensure “an abundant supply of reliable energy is readily accessible in every State and territory of the Nation.”
  • “Eliminate the ‘electric vehicle (EV) mandate’.”
  • “To guarantee that all executive departments and agencies (agencies) provide opportunity for public comment and rigorous, peer-reviewed scientific analysis.”

19. Realigning the U.S. Refugee Admissions

  • The United States will “admit only those refugees who can fully and appropriately assimilate into the United States and to ensure that the United States preserves taxpayer resources for its citizens.”

20. American Citizenship

  • “It is the policy of the United States that no department or agency of the United States government shall issue documents recognizing United States citizenship, or accept documents issued by State, local, or other governments or authorities purporting to recognize United States citizenship, to persons:
  • (1) when that person’s mother was unlawfully present in the United States and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth, or (2) when that person’s mother’s presence in the United States was lawful but temporary, and the person’s father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth.”

21. Secure the Border

  • “It is the policy of the United States to take all appropriate action to secure the borders of our Nation.”
  • This will include building a wall and deporting illegals.

22. Putting People Over Fish

  • “Route more water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to other parts of the state for use by the people there who desperately need a reliable water supply.”

23. Restoring the Death Penalty

  • “The Attorney General shall pursue the death penalty for all crimes of a severity demanding its use.”

24. Promote Beautiful Civic Architectural

  • For staff to “submit to me within 60 days recommendations to advance the policy that Federal public buildings should be visually identifiable as civic buildings and respect regional, traditional, and classical architectural heritage in order to uplift and beautify public spaces and ennoble the United States and our system of self-government.”

25. Restoring Accountability

  • “The President must be able to trust that the Executive Branch will work together in service of the Nation.  My Administration will restore a ‘government of the people, by the people, for the people.”

26. National Energy Emergency

  • “The heads of executive departments and agencies (“agencies”) shall identify and exercise any lawful emergency authorities available to them, as well as all other lawful authorities they may possess, to facilitate the identification, leasing, siting, production, transportation, refining, and generation of domestic energy resources, including, but not limited to, on Federal lands.”

27. Withdrawal of Wind Leasing

  • “I hereby withdraw from disposition for wind energy leasing all areas within the Offshore Continental Shelf (OCS) as defined in section 2 of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, 43 U.S.C. 1331.  This withdrawal shall go into effect beginning on January 21, 2025, and shall remain in effect until this Presidential Memorandum is revoked.”

  • “90-day pause in United States foreign development assistance for assessment of programmatic efficiencies and consistency with United States foreign policy.”

  • “The National Security Act of 1947, as amended (the Act), established the NSC to advise the President with respect to the integration of domestic, foreign, and military policies relating to national security.”

30. Global Tax Deal

  • “The Secretary of the Treasury and the Permanent Representative of the United States to the OECD shall notify the OECD that any commitments made by the prior administration on behalf of the United States with respect to the Global Tax Deal have no force or effect within the United States absent an act by the Congress adopting the relevant provisions of the Global Tax Deal.”

“It is the policy of the United States to faithfully execute the immigration laws against all inadmissible and removable aliens, particularly those aliens who threaten the safety or security of the American people.”

32. Unleashing Alaska’s Extraordinary Resources

  • “It is the policy of the United States to fully avail itself of Alaska’s vast lands and resources for the benefit of the Nation and the American citizens who call Alaska home.”

33. Protecting the United States

  • “The Secretary of State, in coordination with the Attorney General, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the Director of National Intelligence, shall promptly identify all resources that may be used to ensure that all aliens seeking admission to the United States, or who are already in the United States, are vetted and screened to the maximum degree possible.”

  • “As soon as practicable, the Secretary of State shall issue guidance bringing the Department of State’s policies, programs, personnel, and operations in line with an America First foreign policy, which puts America and its interests first.”

35. Establishing DOGE

  • “This Executive Order establishes the Department of Government Efficiency to implement the President’s DOGE Agenda, by modernizing Federal technology and software to maximize governmental efficiency and productivity.”

  • “Designating Within 120 days of the date of this order, the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, in consultation with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, and the Administrator of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), shall develop and send to agency heads a Federal Hiring Plan that brings to the Federal workforce only highly skilled Americans dedicated to the furtherance of American ideals, values, and interests.”
