The Director-General of the Ntufam Edim Inok Campaign Organisation, Hon. Oqua Edet Oqua has said that Ntufam Edim Inok, All Progressive Congress, APC Candidate for the Odukpani/Calabar Municipality Federal House of Representatives, will be declared as the winner of the seat come 2023.

Oqua stated this on Saturday, November 5, 2022, during the inauguration of the Ntufam Edim Inok Edim Campaign Organisation and the opening of the Campaign Office at Diamond Hill, Calabar, Cross River State capital.

He said “Ntufam Edim Inok has paid his dues, this is our time to pay him back and the only way we can pay him is to go out and speak about what APC has done in Cross River State and what Edim Inok has done.

“When Edim Inok goes to the National Assembly, and as a community-based person, he won’t forget you all – on like some of the politicians. So, be strong and be committed to our great party and we assure you that come 2023, Edim Inok will be declared winner”.

Oqua further stated that the APC will sweep all the positions in Cross River State come 2023. “We have credible candidates to run this election for us. We are gathered here for the commissioning of this campaign office. We are also here to charge you that Edim Inok is found worthy to work for.

“We have all it takes to win other parties in Cross River State. Starting from the polling unit.
The governor is APC, majority of the State House of Assembly Members, some National Assembly Members, Local Government chairmen, over 90 per cent Councillors, Commissioners, etc are APC – all we need is for us to harmonise our collective strength as APC is going to sweep Cross River.

He also asserted that Bola Tinubu, APC presidential candidate, Prince Bassey Otu, APC Governorship candidate, and other candidates are going to win the 2023 election.

“We can assure you that Bola Tinubu will win as the president, our incoming senator, Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr. will win as a senator, and going forward, Prince Bassey Otu will win as governor because we have the very best the state can present.

“We know very well that we are just waiting for the swearing-in as Prince Otu will become governor come 2023. We must work because this is going to be a BVAS election and we must unite the party at all levels”, added.

Hon. Efeffiong Nta Eke, Chairman of Calabar Municipal Local Government Council who x-rayed Inok said the candidate has sown his seed and this is the time for him to reap, adding that the flawless politician is one devoid of tribe.

“We are here to tell the world the little we know about our candidates, particularly Ntufam Edim Inok. I am one of the persons that have served Calabar Municipal for a long time and in all the services of our leaders, it is Edim Inok that has given us the most blessings. We have just served him for less than 5 years but his impact is amazing. He is the man that rewards people.

“He is a man devoid of tribe when it comes to decision making. He believes in the philosophy of monkey work, monkey chop. He has proved this when he was the state chairman of our party. You have sowed your seed and the time for you to reap is now”, Eke, who is also referred to as the Mayor of Calabar said.

On his party, Ntufam Edim Inok, the candidate of the APC for the Odukpani/Calabar Municipality Federal Constituency promised his constituents a fair representation when he gets to the National Assembly.

His words: “As I am going to the National Assembly, I will give you a fair representation.

“I want to thank my good people from Odukpani first, especially those that come from Ikoneto. This is what is called capacity – people coming out for you because of love and not money.

“As I am speaking to you, all the aspirants are with me. I never gave them anything but they have all sheath their swords and said they want to work with me.

“I want to promise that I will work in tandem with the incoming governor of the state – in the aspect of security, attraction of investors, improve education, agriculture, capacity development, etc. I will ensure that I support my governor to stimulate micro-enterprises. I am a goal-getter, I was trained to be result oriented. I will take my youths to Abuja. I will attend to their course.

“If I have this kind of capacity at the state level, imagine how it will be in Abuja. I will reciprocate the love you have given to me. I will never fail you”.

The event was attended by Stanley Nsemo, APC candidate for Calabar Municipality State House, Chairman of Odukpani Local Government Council, Hon. Justina Edem, APC Chapter Chairmen for Odukpani and Calabar Municipality, and a host of others.
