One suspected internet fraudster known as Precious Ojo and popularly as Obago has been arrested for defrauding a United States woman of her $268,000.
Ojo, CONVERSEER learned was arrested on Wednesday (May 10) by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in his Luxury Hotel in Oghara, Delta State.
According to the Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC who arrested Obago, he is only 26 years old.
“He was arrested following a petition received from a United States of America citizen, on his fraudulent activities.
“The petitioner had alleged that the suspect impersonated one Raymond Bush who works in the US Treasury to defraud her of $268,000.00.
“The suspect was arrested at his hotel in Oghara.
“He confessed to building the luxury hotel with his alleged proceeds of crime”, the EFCC said.

The commission said other items recovered from Ojo include a Mercedes-Benz car with a personalised Number Plate and mobile phones.
“The suspect will be arraigned in court soon”, the EFCC added.
