EFCC Arrests 14 Suspected Yahoo Boys in Jos

Jos, Nigeria – The Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested fourteen suspected internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo Boys.

Converseer learned that the suspects were arrested in K-Vom and Rayfield areas in Jos, Plateau State on Saturday, 8th March 2025, following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.

According to a statement by Dele Oyewale, EFCC’s Head of Media & Publicity, on Monday, “Items recovered from them include five laptops, 13 phones and two power banks.

“The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.”
