Fran Garcia is enjoying the left-back role for Real Madrid since rejoining from Rayo Vallecano.
The Spanish International ensured Carlos Ancelloti had no regrets giving him a head start with a Man-of-the-Match performance against Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday (Sept. 17).
Garcia provided two assists for Federico Valverde and Joselu who also joined Madrid from Espanyol in the 46th and 60th minutes.
Sociedad had taken the lead in the 5th minute via Ander Barrenetxea, courtesy of a fine assist from former Real Madrid youngster, Take Kubo.
Madrid ended the first half on the losing side with another new signing and headline maker, Jude Bellingham coming close to restoring parity.
But, Garcia took the game upon his head in the second half by providing two assists to endure Madrid continue their 100% record in La Liga this season.
Speaking during the post-match interview, Fran Garcia said: “Madridistas! I’m happy we secured another win, that we remain undefeated, that we’ve got three more points in La Liga… now it’s time to think about the next three days when the Champions League starts.”
Real Madrid’s next game is against Union Berlin in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday (Sept. 20).
