Dr Godwin Agbor’s Bursary Form For Obudu, Bekwarra and Obanliku Students In Tertiary Institutions

OBUDU (CONVERSEER) – The Medical Director of Omega Clinic and Maternity, Okundi, Dr Godwin Agbor, has announced a bursary for Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku (OBO) Federal Constituency students in tertiary institutions.
Agbor, who is the Chairman of the Obudu Health Anti-Quackery Committee, in a statement on Thursday, said his motive to float a scholarship programme was borne out of the will to give everyone access to tertiary education.
“I am deeply honoured to be among you at this crucial time when our people from Obudu, Bekwarra, and Obanliku need effective representation to unlock greater opportunities in both manpower and infrastructural development.
“Education remains the most powerful tool to liberate any society. In line with this belief, I have resolved to support our students in higher institutions through a bursary programme aimed at easing their financial burden during this festive period.
“Those successfully shortlisted will have their bursary payments made directly into their individual bank accounts.
“This bursary award will be held annually during this cultural season, and it serves as my personal educational support to complement the great infrastructural strides of His Excellency, Senator Bassey Otu, across the state,” Dr Agbor, the APC flag bearer for Obudu State Constituency in the 2020 Cross River State House of Assembly By-election said.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Must be an indigene of Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku (OBO) Federal Constituency
- Must be a student currently at any higher institution in the country
