Hundreds of members of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Otte/Ballah ward of Asa Local Government Area of Kwara have collapsed their structure for the state Governorship candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Prof. Oba Abdulraheem.
The Chairman of Talba Support Group, Mr Lanre Ahmed, received the defectors in Otte on Wednesday.
The ward party Chairman, Mr Ismail Oluwakemi, lamented that the people of Owode/Onire constituency have not seen any sign of seriousness from the party and the candidates.
He claimed that the NNPP governorship candidate is the best alternative due to his track record and integrity.

Oluwakemi expressed the believe that Prof. Oba Abdulraheem is capable of solving their problems and the insecurity in the area, if voted into power.
While receiving the defectors, Ahmed thanked them for believing in the party and the integrity of the flagbearer of the party.
The chairman of the Talba Support Group, assured them that they would enjoy every benefit as those they met in NNPP.
He however urged them to canvass for votes at the grassroots, adding that the election is closer than they think. (NAN)
