A Lady, yet-to-be-identified has been found dead in a hotel in Calabar, Cross River State.
CONVERSEER gathered that the incident occurred at Planet Guest House located at Clement Ebri Drive, State Housing Estate, Calabar.
According to Agba Jalingo, the deceased walked into the hotel with a man who is now on the run.
“Lady walks into Planet Guest House, Calabar with a man and was later found dead in the room. Man escapes. Hotel staff detained at State Housing Police station”, Jalingo said.
When contacted on phone on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, ASP Irene Ugbo, Police Public Relations Officer in Cross River State confirmed the news to CONVERSEER.
Ugbo said she is aware of the incident, adding that investigations are ongoing on the matter.
She said: “Yes, we are aware of the incident and the story is true.
“A man and a woman lodged in a hotel and the woman was later found dead. We are investigating the matter”.
