The 2024 U.S. presidential election is between Vice President Kamala Harris and Former President Donald Trump. Updates will focus majorly on both candidates.
Harris is a Democrat (DEM) while Trump is a Republican (GOP). Please, note these terms.
More than half of states across the country have closed their polls as voters wait to see whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris will win the 2024 election.

“I think right now I’d like to be in Trump’s shoes, but I don’t think it’s conclusive.”
“We need more numbers, need more data. Some good news, but I just don’t think there are enough numbers.”
2:40 am – 6/11/2024 – Donald Trump wins Florida with 4,113,940 votes
2:04 am – 6/11/2024 – CNN projects Donald Trump will win Florida, Tennessee, and Missouri.
Trump’s win in Florida comes after some Democrats were optimistic about Harris’ chances in the state.
1:54 am – 6/11/2024 – Pennsylvania voters have 7 minutes left to get in line at their polling location.
1:46 am – 6/11/2024 – Donald Trump’s odds to win the 2024 election rise on Decision Desk HQ and political betting platform Polymarket.
1:17 am – 6/11/2024 – Jake Tapper visibly stunned after seeing a massive swing of 20 points with independents from Biden in 2020 to Trump in 2024 in Georgia.
The moment came as the hosts were reacting to an exit poll.
“Independent voters. They make up 31% of the electorate. That is a slightly larger share than what it made up four years ago.”
“Trump is spreading them by 11 points in these early exit poll results… We have seen a swing of 20 points towards Trump in terms of the margin…”
12:52 am – 6/11/2024 – Multiple bomb threats made in Georgia, specifically at polling places in Fulton County, Dekalb County, and Cobb County.
The threats are especially concerning to the Harris campaign.
“These threats are not believed to be credible. But they are being investigated and as a result, some of the polling places may be temporarily were closed, voters turned away.”
“This is happening in the parts of the state where the Harris campaign and Democrats need to drive up turnout among democratic-leaning voters.”
11:27 pm – 5/11/2024 – Tucker Carlson tells voters to “stay in line” as there are reports of a “late surge” of voters in key toss-up states.
“If you haven’t voted, you still have time and you really should… If you are stuck in line, there is probably a reason.”
“Don’t let it deter you. Don’t get out of line.”
The comments come as Charlie Kirk is reporting “promising things” from key swing states after warning about turnout earlier in the day.
“Hearing promising things from the late surge of voters in PA WI NC GA. STAY IN LINE! People are vocally upset with the economy and immigration,” Kirk said.
11:13 pm – 5/11/2024 – CNN releases exit poll prompting Chris Wallace to say it would be “a miracle” if Harris could win “with that kind of headwind.”
One question found that most Americans were “dissatisfied” or “angry” with the path of the country.
“In conventional terms, it would be a miracle that Kamala Harris could win with that kind of headwind.”
10:58 pm – 5/11/2024 – CNN’s Dana Bash says she is concerned that Kamala Harris may not have had enough time to “introduce herself” to the American people.
“Donald Trump has been running for two years. Kamala Harris has been running for 107 days. So one of my big questions is, particularly with her candidacy, is whether that was just enough time to introduce herself to the country.”
