A 21-year-old man, Praise James, who allegedly broke into a residential house and stole items worth N365,000, on Tuesday appeared before an Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State.

James, whose residential address was not provided, is standing trial on a two-count charge of stealing and conspiracy preferred against him by the police.

According to him, the defendant broke into the house of one Mrs Famoroti Toyin and stole a HP laptop valued at N170,000, three gold wedding rings worth N100,000 and a wristwatch worth N95,000.
Aigbokhan said that the offences contravened Sections 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
