Did Obasanjo just publicly endorse Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi? He might have.
Well, the unprecedented has just happened in Ogun State and the video has gone viral on social media.
In the viral video spotted by CONVERSEER, former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, surrendered his seat for Obi.
Recall that Obasanjo has never supported a candidate and he failed – starting from Musa Yar’Adua in 2007, Goodluck Jonathan in 2011, and Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

At the dinner of the reception held to celebrate with personalities from Ogun State who received national awards on Wednesday, Obasanjo offered his seat to Peter Obi.

In the viral video, Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State, was present and seated at the same table where Obasanjo dragged Peter Obi to sit.
It didn’t just happen by chance, Baba went down to hold Obi and take him from where he was seated and brought him to the table where Abiodun and others were seated.

Afterward, Obasanjo said, “My job here is done,” as he dropped the microphone and made his way out of the event.
