Speaking on Friday in Calabar during the distribution, the Commissioner Representing the State at the NDDC Board, Rt. Hon. Orok Duke, said the palliatives were part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renew Hope Agenda; to cushion the effect of the ongoing global economic crisis.

Duke, who practically distributed the items, said the NDDC is an intervention-driven agency, and so there was a need for the welfare of the security agencies in the state to be addressed.

He commended the able military and paramilitary personnel for their efforts in keeping the state safe, especially the just concluded Carnival Calabar and Festivals in the state.
