New Year: Hon. Oden Ewa Commends Cross Riverians, Highlights Vision for 2025

Calabar, Nigeria – As the calendar turns to 2025, Hon. Oden Ewa, the Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations in Cross River State has extended his New Year felicitations to the citizens of the state, lauding their resilience and dedication.

In his New Year message, Hon. Ewa reflected on the achievements of the past year under the leadership of Governor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, popularly referred to as the “Sweet Prince,” and Her Lordship, Bishop Eyoawan Otu.

He praised the administration’s efforts in transforming the socio-economic landscape of the state, describing 2024 as a year of significant strides in governance and development.

“Through innovative policy frameworks and meticulous implementation strategies, the Sweet Prince-led government has redefined governance and development paradigms,” Hon. Ewa stated, emphasising the administration’s commitment to optimising resources, fostering intergovernmental partnerships, and establishing Cross River State as a model of economic sustainability.

Looking ahead to 2025, the Commissioner expressed optimism about the state’s trajectory, projecting unprecedented economic growth and innovation.

He highlighted plans to consolidate the gains of the previous year while introducing new frameworks aimed at industrialisation, infrastructure modernisation, and human capital development.

“The New Year promises to foster inclusivity, enhance socio-economic mobility, and establish Cross River State as a hub of opportunities for growth and prosperity,” he said.

Hon. Ewa also called on Cross Riverians to remain steadfast in their support for the administration’s vision, urging collective action to achieve shared aspirations.

He expressed confidence that the synergy between the government and its citizens would unlock boundless possibilities for the state’s progress.

In closing, the Commissioner extended his warmest New Year greetings, expressing hope that 2025 would mark a new era of unparalleled development and fulfilment for the people of Cross River State.

This New Year message defines the administration’s commitment to driving transformative change in Cross River State, setting an optimistic tone for the year ahead.
