Nigerian Widow Accuses Brothers-in-Law of Displacing Her and Children

Owerri, Nigeria – Uba Princess Chidinma Ugoji, a Nigerian widow, has raised serious allegations against her brothers-in-law, accusing them of forcefully taking over her late husband’s home and displacing her and her children.

In a Facebook post shared on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, the mother of three recounted her ordeal, alleging that her late husband’s brothers entered the house in her absence, evicted her younger sister and staff, and changed the locks.

According to Princess Chidinma, the brothers-in-law also took possession of the property’s documents and threatened to kill her if she attempted to reclaim the house.

The widow expressed her distress over the situation, which has left her and her children without a place to call home. The allegations have sparked public outrage online, with many calling for intervention.

Efforts to contact the accused individuals or their representatives for comments were unsuccessful at the time of this report.
