Gov. Dapo Abiodun of Ogun on Tuesday declared that his administration has not unjustly favoured any particular section in the state in its provision of infrastructure.
Abiodun stated this while speaking to thousands of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in Ifo during a rally in continuation of his reelection campaign.
The governor reiterated the commitment of his administration to execute projects that would continually make life more meaningful for the residents of the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the governor equally during the campaign inaugurated the 3.1 km Vespa-Olose road.
Abiodun said that the construction of the 3.1km Vespa-Olose road was part of deliberate plan of his government to further open up every part of the state and improve on the ease of doing business in the state.
He said that the Joju section of Abeokuta-Sango Ota expressway, which belonged to the federal government, had also been rehabilitated while the Ewekoro-Ifo section of the road would also receive due attention before the rain commenced.
The governor said that his government had also approved the rehabilitation of the old Bank road in the town, adding that his administration had constructed over 400km of roads across the 20 local governments in the last three and half years.
Abiodun further urged eligible voters in the state to go and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and return him to office in the March 11 governorship election for another four years for purposeful governance.
The governor equally appealed to the people to vote for all the candidates of APC including its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He stated that the party if re-elected in the 2023 elections would continue to implement programmes that would make life more rewarding for all Nigerians. (NAN)
