The National Population Commission, NPC has postponed the LGA-level training of Supervisors and Enumerators scheduled to commence on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
CONVERSEER learned that the postponement was due to some emerging issues.
According to a press release signed by Isiaka Yahaya, Director of Public Affairs, NPC, on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, a new date will be communicated to the public in due course.

“We assure Nigerians that the Commission remains committed to conduct a credible and acceptable 2023 Population and Housing Census and that all preparations are in top gear.
“Consequently, we advise the public to disregard any message contrary to this information. We regret any inconvenience this postponement may have caused the functionaries”, the statement read in part.
It added that, “The new date will be communicated to the public in due course”.
