Is the era of smartphone technology a curse to humanity? A Port Harcourt man was left to die while people watched and took photos of him.
According to reports, the unidentified man slumped and died by the roadside with lots of people who turned spectators and cameramen and women in the Rivers State capital.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon (April 11, 2023) at the Rumuigbo Junction area of Port Harcourt.
A source who only identified herself as Grace told Vanguard that when the man fell, he struggled to stand up but couldn’t until he gave up the ghost.

She said passersby who gathered around the embattled man were only taking pictures instead of helping him.
This is not the first time such an incident is happening. Why are people so keen on taking pictures of a dying person instead of saving lives?
