“Nobody”, according to the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, can stop Bola Tinubu from taking office on May 29.
Recall that Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) are challenging Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC) victory in the court.
Abubakar made this disclosure while pleading with Nigerians to pray for Tinubu’s administration to be successful.
He spoke on Wednesday in Abuja at a roundtable discussion with traditional and religious leaders that was sponsored by the World Bank.

“There must be change because, in the next few days or weeks, there will be a new government; what can we contribute to that government to stabilize?
“Whether anybody likes it, it must take place, a new government is coming on May 29, so what can we do besides prayers, because we believe in the Almighty, we believe in God that gives and takes.
“After that so what? What do we do to help the government stabilize and move the country forward?”, the Sultan questioned.
He further urged Nigerians to band together and struggle to uphold justice and equity.
