The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi has mourned the demise of Mallam Lawal Garba, one of the party’s members in Kaduna State.
CONVERSEER gathered that Garba was involved in a fatal accident on Monday night.
Mourning the Labour Party Chieftain on Tuesday, Obi who was shocked by the news said it was tragic.
He said the death of Garba is a big loss to the Labour Party family.
His words: “I’m shocked by the news of the sudden and tragic death of Mallam Lawal Garba last night in a fatal vehicular accident.
“Mallam Garba was in attendance at the Arewa House interactive session. His death is a huge loss to his family, the Labour Party family in Kaduna State and the Kaduna people.
“I pray for the peaceful repose of his soul and that God Almighty will grant his family the fortitude to bear this huge loss”.
