Samsung recently admitted that after its Galaxy phones were upgraded to the OneUI 5.1 system, the lock screen did not work properly.
According to the information gathered on the Reddit community, Twitter social platforms, etc, Samsung users mainly reported that the screen would freeze or suddenly enter the lock screen state during use, and the user’s subsequent unlocking would result in a black screen.
Samsung acknowledged the above issues and said it is releasing an update to fix the lock screen bug.

The company further stated that affected users can check for available updates, and the bug will be fixed after upgrading to the new version.
Open the Settings app on your Galaxy smartphone, scroll down, and tap the “Software Update” option, then tap the “Download and Install” option to install the latest version.
