Teachers Allegedly Beat NYSC Member For Not Greeting Properly

Ilorin, Nigeria – A serving National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) member has been allegedly beaten by teachers in her Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) in Kwara State.

According to reports, the Corps Member (yet-to-be identified) reported to her PPA, Government Day Junior Secondary School, Kulende, Ilorin, on Wednesday to collect her clearance letter.

She was allegedly beaten by the teachers for “not greeting properly.”

According to NajiaWide Media, eyewitnesses claimed one of the teachers attacked her, “tearing her NYSC white t-shirt, and was joined by another teacher who slapped her.”

“This incident has sparked outrage, with many calling for an investigation and accountability,” the platform claimed.
