Tinubu Didn’t Build Lagos (By Mallam Jabir)

Bola Tinubu didn’t build Lagos, Lagos was built by the Nigerian Government/People.

Majority of the businesses and properties today in Lagos are owned by other tribes not the Lagos indigenes.

Let’s set the record straight, Lagos transformation is a collective achievement, not a single individual’s accomplishment just like other people are claiming.

The city’s growth was largely fueled by federal investments and infrastructural developments during its time as Nigeria’s capital. These projects, including roads, bridges, and public buildings, shaped Lagos’ landscape.

While Bola Tinubu’s tenure as governor from 1999 to 2007 was a part of this narrative, it’s essential to recognize the broader contributions of various administrations and stakeholders. Lagos evolution into a megacity is a testament to these collective efforts.

As the city continues to evolve with new projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing its infrastructure, economy, and quality of life, let’s acknowledge the numerous individuals and groups who have played a part in its development.

Every tribe in Nigeria has contributed immensely towards the development of Lagos.

Let’s be guided.
