The ruling All progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has urged the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour party (LP) and other opposition parties to accept the result of the 2023 presidential election in good faith by showing spirit of sportmanship.
This is contained in a statement signed by its Chairman, Dr John Mamman, and made available to newsmen in Lafia on Wednesday.
Mamman said that the victory of Tinubu was a clear demonstration of Nigerians believe in APC.
“We therefore wish to join all Nigerians and our party faithful in congratulating His Excellency, the President-elect, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his well deserved victory.
“This victory is no doubt the people’s verdict and the acceptability of Tinubu/Shettima mandate,” he said.
The chairman appreciated all the party faithful and Nigerians for their support and contributions which led to APC’s victory in a clear, free, fair and transparent election.
“Let’s do it again on March 11 by voting massively for our amiable leader, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, and all APC state House of Assembly candidates for continuity and progress,” he urged.
Mamman also prayed that Tinubu’s administration would bring renewed hope for Nigeria.
The chairman further appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari, INEC and security agencies for conducting one of the frees,fairest and credible poll in the history of Nigeria. (NAN)
