After pictures of Biodun Fatoyinbo appearing frail and thin surfaced last year, the founding pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, has spoken about his poor health.
During his visit to the United Kingdom in November of last year, the church shared the images publicly.
The images sparked a lot of discussion regarding his health at the time on social media.

Yet on Thursday, Fatoyinbo, who is currently in Ota, Ogun State, testified of his recovery while attending the International Minister Conference hosted by David Oyedepo, presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide.
The clergyman approached the stage during the service and acknowledged that he had been ill the previous year, though he remained mute about the specifics of his illness.
Despite receiving medical care, Fatoyinbo, who appeared healthier than before, claimed that his mentor Oyedepo was praying and giving him life advice.

With a smile on his face, he said, “Last year, I was a little bit ill and against everything, the medical sciences, Papa (Oyedepo) spoke, and I am here today. And I want to give God the glory!”
Before being called by God to build a church, the pastor said that he was a drummer boy at Winners Chapel in its formative years.
He claimed that over the years, he had observed Oyedepo from a distance, but that when he got close to him, his life took a “phenomenal” turn.
He stated that after developing a mentor-protege relationship with Oyedepo, COZA, like Living Faith Church, is now purchasing properties and operating like a franchise where everything resembles the headquarters.
