It is no longer news that singer Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford have broken up after dating for just 7 months. What could stir up their breakage?
“We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and are still close friends,” the “lovely” singer’s publicist said. “All rumours of cheating are untrue. Both are single at the moment.”
Billie and Jesse were first spotted hanging around and making out back in October last year, and in November they went Instagram official. The breakup signals the end of a brief relationship.
But since their trip to Coachella last month, Billie and Jesse, the lead vocalist for the band The Neighbourhood, had not been spotted together in public.
However, when Billie attended the Met Gala without Jesse and in all black earlier this month, it appeared that there was turmoil in the couple’s relationship.

Although Billie is said to have been spotted cuddling up to “Love, Victor” actress Ava Capri at a Met Gala after-party, neither Billie nor Jesse allegedly cheated on their partners while they were engaged.
It is still unknown what caused the separation, according to Page Six, the medium that reported it first.
Recall that in October 2022, when a video of Billie and Jesse holding hands as they exited a haunted house went viral, romance rumours about the two of them began to circulate.
The Hollywood Horror Nights outing took place the night after Billie and Jesse had dinner together at a well-known Los Angeles vegan restaurant, where they also appeared to be dating.
A few days later, Billie and Jesse displayed some PDA by sharing a kiss in front of the cameras. Now, they are no longer together just after 7 months.
