Xiaomi 15 Ultra Expected to Debut at MWC 2025 in February

Xiaomi is gearing up to complete its 2025 flagship lineup with the much-anticipated Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The smartphone is slated for a February launch, starting in China, with speculation suggesting an unveiling during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona.

This aligns with Xiaomi’s tradition of showcasing flagship devices on a global stage, following the reveal of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra at MWC earlier this year.

Prominent tipster Digital Chat Station hints at a release towards late February, corroborating earlier statements by Xiaomi executives. If confirmed, the 15 Ultra’s debut at MWC will further underscore Xiaomi’s ambition to solidify its position as a global contender in the premium smartphone segment.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, delivering cutting-edge performance. Its 2K OLED display with curved edges and a 120Hz refresh rate promises a sharp and smooth visual experience. An under-screen fingerprint scanner will provide added convenience and security.

Battery life is another highlight, with a robust 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The device will run Android 15, paired with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, ensuring a seamless blend of software and hardware for users.

The 15 Ultra is anticipated to cater to high-end users with advanced camera systems and state-of-the-art technology. As the launch date approaches, more details about its specifications and features are expected, keeping fans and industry watchers eager for updates.

Camera Capabilities

The quad-camera system includes:

  • A 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor for remarkable main shots.
  • A 50 MP ultrawide lens with Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor.
  • A 50 MP telephoto lens for crisp zooms.
  • A 200 MP periscope telephoto camera offering 100x hybrid AI zoom, ideal for distant subjects.

Stay tuned for further developments on Xiaomi’s flagship offering, which is set to compete with the best smartphones on the market.
