Some Chinese smartphone brands are preparing to launch new phones equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2.

The chip is expected to be an over-clocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and the price has increased a lot.

According to a Weibo report, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip is currently being tested by Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Meizu, OPPO and iQOO, and the iQOO 11S, which is expected to be unveiled in the third quarter of 2023, will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip.

Xiaomi’s new Fold 3 foldable screen has been exposed to use this new chip, while OPPO’s Realme GT Neo6 and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro are also expected to use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip.
