United States President Joe Biden has referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “Trump” while answering the first question of his ‘Big Boy’ press conference.
The comment came just moments after he confused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.
“I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President, though I think she was not qualified to be president,” Biden said.
Earlier, during the NATO summit in Washington, Biden referred to Zelenskiy as Putin, saying, “And now I wanna hand it over to the President of Ukraine who has as much courage as he has. Determination, ladies and gentlemen, President Putin.”

While correcting himself about two seconds later, Biden added: “President Putin, you’re going to beat President Putin, President Zelenskiy. I am so focused on beating Putin.”
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz defended Biden after the president’s mistake, saying “Slips of tongue happen, and if you always monitor everyone, you will find enough of them.”
