Katsina implements N70,000 minimum wage: See new salary structure

The Governor of Katsina State, Dr Dikko Umar Radda has implemented the N70,000 new minimum wage recently approved by President Bola Tinubu.

CONVERSEER gathered that the new N70,000 minimum wage implementation by Radda is for the State Civil Servants and all Local Government Staff with arrears from 1st April 2024.

With the new wage, the new salary structure is as follows:

GL01 steps 2 to 11 is between N70,590.00 and N74,410.00.

GL02 steps 2 to 11 is between N76,680.00 and N81,620.00.

GL03 steps 2 to 11 is between N82,790.00 and N89,170.00.

GL04 steps 2 to 11 is between N90,900.00 and N99,000.00

GL05 steps 2 to 11 is between N100,000.00 and N107,900.00.

GL06 steps 2 to 11 is between N109,100.00 and N115,600.00.

GL07 steps 2 to 11 is between N120,490.00 and N125,900.00.

GL08 steps 2 to 11 is between N126,700.00 and N130,300.00.

GL09 steps 2 to 11 is between N131,200.00 and N134,400.00.

GL10 steps 2 to 11 is between N142,500.00 and N158,200.00.

GL12 steps 2 to 11 is between N162,100.00 and N180,400.00.

GL13 steps 2 to 11 is between N183,800.00 and N199,900.00.




GL14 steps 2 to 11 is between N202,500.00 and N210,700.00.

GL15 steps 2 to 11 are between N212,800.00 and N218,300.00.

GL16 steps 2 to 9 is between N230,100.00 and N350,500.00

GL17 steps 2 to 9 is between N325,100.00 and N360,500.00.




CONVERSEER further gathered that the above salary structure is for basic salary alone and does not include:

1. House rent
2. Transport

4. Meal subsidy
5. Entertainment (Level 15-17)
6. Domestic Servant (Level 15-17)
7. Teaching Allowance
8. Leave Grant
8. Medical Allowance
