Dira: Portable fortifies himself in shrine (VIDEO)

Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has taken to the shrine to do “Dira.”

Portable shared some of the videos on his verified Instagram page, @portablebaeby on Tuesday.

The CONVERSEER learned that Dira is a means of fortifying oneself.

While some fans are celebrating him for showing off his traditional religion, others are saying he is too revealing (casting) himself. Read some of the reactions below:

“Only problem he had is always showing all this online, some of your favourite do more than this offline.” – @alh_alubarika

“Love how Portable promotes traditions.” – @mustapha.haggi

“Funny how after posting about all these online, he gets robbed or beaten up. I don’t get the purpose of doing this when people can still hurt you. Crazy sturvs.” – @__arike_adey

“Do juju no wait for gods time.” – @charleschidude

“If we Christians can post ourselves when we go to church and Muslims also post themselves when they pray also. So why can’t he post what he believes in and work for him?” – @oroporvibe
