Colorado, U.S. – Aurora Colorado Police Chief Todd Chamberlain has said the kidnapping incident where 14 illegal immigrants tortured a couple was “without question a gang incident.”
Chamberlain said almost everyone involved was Venezuelan and said there was a “high assumption” that they were affiliated with the Tren de Aragua gang.
“They were pistol-whipped, they were beaten, they were mistreated. So does that fall in the category of torture for me? Yeah, it does.”
“This is without question a gang incident. I don’t know which gang they are affiliated with yet… there is a high assumption that they may be affiliated with the TdA [Tren de Aragua] gang.”
The incident just so happened to take place at the apartment complex that landlords claim was taken over by the Venezuelan gang.

Earlier, a migrant was sentenced to four years in jail after giving birth in a gas station before allegedly trying to flush the newborn down the toilet.
The Mexican migrant Diana Guadalupe Zavala Lopez claimed she didn’t even know she was pregnant until the night she showed up at the gas station.
The woman reportedly admitted she left the baby face down in the toilet and never checked for signs of life.
After giving birth, Lopez left the station with blood running down her legs and tried fleeing to Mexico.
The incident happened in Houston, Texas.
