A Kansas Professor has been placed on leave after saying men should be shot who don’t vote for Kamala Harris.
Despite being placed on leave, the school appeared to defend him in a statement to the National News Desk.
In a lecture hall full of students, the professor said men should be lined up and shot if they don’t vote for Harris because she’s a woman.
He then told someone to delete the recording.
“We are aware of the video, which was recorded during a class earlier this semester,” a spokesperson for the University of Kansas wrote.
“The instructor is being placed on administrative leave, pending further investigation. The instructor offers his sincerest apologies and deeply regrets the situation.”
“His intent was to emphasise his advocacy for women’s rights and equality, and he recognises he did a very poor job of doing so.”
“The university has an established process for situations like this and will follow that process.”
