WAEC Announces Blessing Chioma Obidogbo As Best Female Student In West Africa, Nigeria

Miss Obidigbo Blessing Chioma has been adjudged to be the best female student in West Africa and Nigeria by the West African Examinations Council, WAEC.

This was disclosed by WAEC on Wednesday on its official social media pages.

According to WAEC, “Meet our Distinguished Winner, Miss Obidigbo Blessing Chioma, Overall Winner of the National Distinction/Merit Award.”

Ms Obidogbo won the following awards at the WAEC Distinction/Merit Awards for WASSCE (SC) 2022 ceremony:

• Winner of the National Distinction/Merit Award in WASSCE for School Candidates, 2022

• 3rd Prize Winner Excellence Award in WASSCE for School Candidates, 2022

• Best Overall Female in West Africa

• Best Overall Female in Nigeria

Chioma Blessing Obidigbo was a student of St.Paul’s Academy, Jos, Plateau State.

She is currently in the United Kingdom for her university education.

The award was collected on her behalf by elated parents, Mr and Mrs Matthew Obidigbo.

CONVERSEER reports that Ms Obidigbo had 9 A1s in her WAEC in the following subjects; English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Civic Education, French, Marketing and Agricultural Science.

She also had 327 in her Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB result.

The WAEC Distinction/Merit Awards for WASSCE (SC) 2022 ceremony was held on the 16th November 2023 at Ta’al Luxury Hotel, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
