Dr Arnold Udoka of the Department of Theatre and Media Studies has been appointed as the Director of the University of Calabar Performing Company (UCPC).
CONVERSEER learned that his appointment was approved by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Florence Obi.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated 4th December 2023 and signed by the University Registrar, Mr Gabriel O. Egbe.

The appointment which is for two (2) years in the first instance takes effect from 4th December 2023.
According to the letter, the new Director is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear in repositioning the near-lost glory of this important section of the University, even as relevant sections of the University have been requested to accord him the necessary courtesies associated with the office.
