Team Legislators’ Wives has defeated Team Executive Wives at the ongoing Carnival Calabar & Festival Novelty Football Tournament to win the 2023 trophy.
The match which was played on Sunday 10 December 2023 saw the Wives of the Legislators in Cross River defeating the Wives of the Executives 1-0 at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
The match was sizzling, scintillating and showed a display of skills and experience, as the spectators were thrilled to their feet.
The match which saw Team Legislators Wives narrowly defeat Team Executives Wives to a lone goal witnessed a quick display of ball precision, passing successions and flair to thrill the teeming spectators.

They lifted the trophy amidst joy and celebrations.
