Lexus’ mid-sized pure electric SUV model RZ series recently welcomed a new member-RZ 300e.

According to IT House, this model is a new car based on the RZ 450e released in 2022. The main difference is that it uses a single-motor front drive system and has a CLTC range of 614 kilometres.
The exterior design of the RZ 300e is basically the same as that of the RZ 450e, with a closed front grille and black decorative panels below the headlights. The sidelines of the car body are complex, and the roof has a floating effect.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the Lexus RZ 300e are 4805/1895/1635 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2850 mm, which is consistent with the RZ 450e.

The interior style of the RZ 300e is also the same as the RZ 450e, with 3 interior colours available. In terms of configuration, the new car provides a Mark Levinson audio system, wireless fast charging for mobile phones, Lexus Safety System + driving assistance system, etc., and optional “Driving Control and Enjoyment Package”, “Technology Smart Enjoyment A Package” and “Technology Smart Enjoyment B Package”.

The Lexus RZ series models are built on the e-TNGA pure electric architecture. The RZ 300e uses a new silicon carbide e-Axle front drive unit. The permanent magnet synchronous motor it is equipped with has a maximum power of 150 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 266 Nm, combined with the total capacity. With a 72.8 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, the CLTC comprehensive operating range can reach up to 614 kilometres.
In addition, the car has developed a special rear suspension structure for front-wheel drive models, which can reduce noise and improve comfort. At the same time, the car is also equipped with a rapid battery heating system, which can improve battery preheating performance and shorten fast charging time during cold periods.
